At Brewed Awakening’s, we're passionate about serving up more than just a great cup of coffee. Our story began in 2015 in Ybor City, where our founder, Chris Zamora, discovered a unique coffee-cocktail ratio that sparked a new vision for business.
Story
Chris Zamora, our founder, has a rich history in the Tampa Bay coffee scene. From slinging lattes from an old Volkswagen to curating cocktail menus for popular watering holes, Chris has always been driven by a passion for creativity and experimentation. After a chance encounter with a drunk driver, Chris redirected his business towards cold brew, and the rest is history.
Mission
We're dedicated to providing a unique and refreshing cold brew experience that's as much about the atmosphere as it is about the drink. Our menu is ever-expanding, but our signature drinks, the Cinnamon Banana Bread Oat Latte and Electric Cold Brew Lemonade, are customer favorites. We're committed to using the highest-quality ingredients and innovative techniques to create drinks that are both enticing and visually stunning.
Our Home
We're thrilled to call Cybel, a new French Moroccan fusion restaurant in Historic Kenwood, our home. Our cold brew cafe and bottle shop is nestled within Cybel's beautiful space, where customers can enjoy our unique drinks and explore the restaurant's menu. We're also neighbors to A Good Human, a wholesaler of plant-based meals, whose nutritious bowls and grab-and-go items are available for purchase in our shared space. This collaboration brings together two complementary businesses, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our customers to enjoy.
